5 Portland Summer Camps Just for Girls

Summer is the perfect opportunity for your daughter to find a new hobby or partake in fun activities that will help strengthen her leadership skills, allow her to explore new interests, and provide a space to build new friendships. With so many programs and camps available, it may be hard to figure out which one is right for her. To make your family’s search easier, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite all-girls camps around Portland that focus on empowering young women!

SMA's Mock Trial Team Places Third in State!

It’s well known that St. Mary’s Academy’s mock trial team is a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. In the last five years, the team has twice made it to the national championships and placed third in last month’s state competition. With an impressive list of accomplishments like that, we definitely would not want to be the team opposing these girls in a court of law. To learn more, we sat down with team members Kyra Lauersdorf ’18 and Tabatha Foxwell ’21 for a brief interview, who gave us the details on this year’s competition and the fun world of mock trial.
