What Parents Need to Know About Upcoming Final Exams

All St. Mary’s students are expected to take final exams, or participate in a culminating academic activity, as scheduled at the end of each semester.

Important Note: Students who are absent for the first exam of the day may not take the second exam of the day either. Also, your student can only reschedule finals in cases of serious personal illness, hospitalization or a death or emergency in the family. If your daughter must reschedule a final for any other reason, you’ll pay a fee of $30 per exam.

It’s important that you schedule family vacations and trips after exams are completed. In that case, you also need to notify Patty Gorman, dean of students, at least two weeks in advance.
