The St. Mary’s Academy’s Student Leadership Program believes that women change the world. Our mission is to launch women leaders who speak in their authentic voices, pilot new ideas with confidence, and generate leadership in others. We look forward to working with your students this school year, and are especially excited to connect with new ninth grade students who are interested in leadership.
Here are a number of ways to engage with the leadership program in the coming weeks:
LINK Mentorship Program
St. Mary’s LINK mentorship program runs a very special event for all ninth graders called Frosh Lock-In. It’s an organized slumber party for the whole freshmen class from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Information about Frosh Lock-In is in your ninth grade e-packets and a hard copy is in the mail. We can’t wait to get to know the Class of 2023!
Frosh Lock-In
Because Frosh Lock-In is such a labor of love, we appreciate as many parent volunteers as are willing to help. Find more information about volunteer duties and shifts, as well as sign-ups.
Leading the Way
There are still spaces for Leading the Way at St. Mary’s – a day long equity and inclusion workshop facilitated by the Center for Equity and Inclusion. Space is limited so sign-up today.
Details:
- Monday Aug. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Light breakfast and dinner are included. Lunch is on your own.
Leadership Launch Trainings
Sign-up your daughter to join Leadership Launch, a series of free trainings Aug. 27 and 29. As you know, leadership is woven into the fabric of St. Mary’s Academy and students end up leading clubs, committees, and programs. It’s never too soon or too late to learn leadership skills.
Freshman Leadership
Parents of freshman: New this year, we are offering 20 sign-up slots for these leadership trainings to freshmen interested in leadership at St. Mary’s.
