The Parent & Student Events committee is responsible for advising on, planning and organizing the following parent/student events:
·       Father-Daughter dance
·       Mother-Daughter annual event
·       Parent-Daughter craft night
·       Parent-Daughter game night
·       Parent mixers
·       Senior Grad Party
Additionally, the Parent Social Committee oversees quarterly faculty/staff appreciation events, such as Faculty/Staff Appreciation Week (May), luncheons, the St. Mary’s Academy Bake Shop (December), final exam week Faculty/Staff support, etc.

The Admissions & Recruitment committee serves as ambassadors within and beyond St. Mary’s Academy. Committee members are responsible for representing SMA through admissions events. These events include Open House, Girls Night Out, Family Interviews and Welcome Night.

The Development committee works closely with the Development staff to help inspire and grow support for the school. These committee members include our TA Parent Liaison Leads (by grade). Committee members will have the opportunity to lead and serve our events, such as the St. Mary’s Academy Annual Auction, Food for Thought Luncheon, and Student Fundraiser. Members of this committee will help to foster new philanthropic connections and partnerships amongst parents and other community members.

Members of the Leadership Committee are responsible for connecting community members to SMA involvement specifically through mentorship opportunities for students, guest speakers, and opportunities with local business owners.

These connections could be with alumnae or other focused women in leadership that would be beneficial to students.
