Summer Program FAQ

Final Details: Meals, Attire, Checking-In

Families will receive a final confirmation email one week before the start of camp, which includes a list of what to bring each day, drop-off and pick-up information, and any last-minute details about the camp itself.

We ask that families send their camper with a sack lunch and reusable water bottle each day. We provide light snacks. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you can be active in!

Check-in opens 30 minutes before the start of camp. Signage will be placed in the front hall to direct your family to the check-in location. Parents are welcome to come in with students, or simply drop them off. Drop off and pick up location will be communicated prior to the camp. We will have construction going on in the building and will have more information about where campers can enter and leave SMA.

Before and After Care Policy

At this time, we are not hosting before or after care for summer camps. We do, however, offer an extended drop-off and pick-up window. Families may drop off their camper 30 minutes before camp starts and may pick up campers any time within 30 minutes of camp ending.

Campers who arrive or depart outside of this 30-minute grace period will be billed $25. Invoices will be sent via email for credit card payment, or families may pay in-person by cash or check made out to St. Mary’s Academy.

Cancellation Policy

If your summer plans change and you need to withdraw your daughter from camp, please send your cancellation in writing via email to summerprogram@smapdx.org. Families must notify St. Mary’s Academy of their cancellation by June 1, 2020. All camp cancellations are subject to a $50 non-refundable processing fee. Refunds will not be issued after June 1st.

In order to ensure a high-quality experience for our campers with individual guidance and mentorship from our Camp Directors and Student Counselors, we limit the number of spots in each camp. By June 1st, we have incurred all the expenses for our camps. Thank you for your understanding and for your commitment to quality programs for girls.
