Winter Formal 2026
The Senior class of 2026 proudly presents this year's Winter Formal, The Waltz of the Eternal Winter’s End. This dance is open to all students and will be held on Saturday, February 7th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at The Evergreen (618 SE Alder St, Portland, OR 97214).
Tickets will be sold online beginning Tuesday, January 27th and close on Wednesday, February 4th at 11:59pm. Students will utilize the QR code ticket they receive in their ticket confirmation email to enter the dance or can search by their first and last name. No tickets will be sold at the dance.
All tickets must be purchased no later than Wednesday, February 4th at 11:59pm. The dress standard for this dance is semi-formal. A small coatroom will be available to students and guests.
- $25 for a SMA student without a guest
- $50 for a SMA student with a guest
Guests: Each SMA student in attendance may invite one guest. Guests may be from Catholic or non-Catholic high schools. Guests must be at least in the 9th grade and may not be over the age of 20. Students and the student’s parents are responsible for their guest and must complete a guest pass here by the specified deadline. All guest passes must be completed, signed by all parties required, and emailed to Ashley Sheridan, VP of Student Life, at ashley.sheridan@smapdx.org by 11:59pm on Thursday, February 5th.
Parking: There is not a dedicated parking lot at the venue. Street parking, pay to park lots, and public transit are a few options for transportation to and from the venue.
We ask that students plan carefully when making pre-dance plans or dinner reservations. They should allow themselves ample time for dining, traveling, and parking in order to arrive at the dance no later than 8:00pm. No student will be allowed to enter the dance after 8:00pm unless prearranged. Upon arrival, students must check in using the QR code provided in their ticket purchase confirmation email. Only paid students will be allowed to attend the dance. Doors will close promptly at 8:00pm and will reopen at 8:15pm. Once checked in, students cannot leave until the doors reopen at 8:15pm. No re-entry is allowed.
Upon arrival, students must check in with their guests. Both the SMA student and guest must show a form of ID upon entrance. If a SMA student is not arriving with their guest, they should wait at the check-in table until their guest arrives. Only paid students and their registered guest will be allowed to attend the dance. No tickets will be sold at the dance. We hope that everyone will have an enjoyable evening. To ensure this result, it is our expectation that this dance is absolutely drug, tobacco, and alcohol-free. We are asking for your support as parents and students. The safety of our students is our highest priority. Breathalyzers will be utilized at the dance.
