A Typical School Day

A typical school day starts at 8:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Our school follows a block class schedule with each period being 1 hour and 15 minutes long. Students take 7 classes per semester, and we have built in blocks for activities, quiet study, and school liturgies.

Transportation

St. Mary's attracts young women from all over the Portland/Vancouver metro area, and we are well equipped to support your family in planning the commute to and from school. Click here to learn more.

Carpool: We use a SchoolPool carpooling software to help families form carpool connections.

Public Transportation: Our campus is easily accessible by a variety of public transportation routes including the yellow, orange and green MAX trains, TriMet buses, the Portland Streetcar and C-TRAN buses.  We sell monthly student Trimet passes for $28.

Building Access: Students can enter the building as early as 7:30 am, and after school, your daughter will have a safe space to be productive until her ride arrives.

Academics | A Student Perspective

Our students are our best representatives of the power of a St. Mary's education. Watch the student-created videos to hear more about a particular academic subject area.
