March 8th Alumnae Engagement Series - The Women of Genesis with Patty Gorman

On International Women’s Day, we pause to think about all the women throughout Judeo-Christian history on whose shoulder we stand. They teach us about strength, compassion, love, and faithfulness. Tonight, will focus on some of the women of Genesis. Their stories deal with major themes that many of us can identify with from our own life experiences: strong relationship with God, bravery, sibling rivalry, infertility, the joy of motherhood, finding one’s soulmate, jealousy, violence, widowhood, and being abandoned or displaced from home and family. Please plan on joining us on this seventh day of Lent for this look into the lives of some of the women of Genesis.
