34th Annual Auction: The Future is Bright!

The 34th annual auction was held this Saturday, April 9th at the Oregon Convention Center. The theme: The Future is Bright proved to be true not just in the décor but the vibrant energy among attendees. For the first time in two years, the St. Mary’s community was able to come together in person to celebrate the annual auction. Mistress of Ceremonies Ashley Korslien, KGW News Anchor kept everyone entertained throughout the event.

Those in attendance enjoyed a reception alongside the in-person silent auction, a lovely dinner and a program which celebrated the 30 years of incredible dedicaton to St. Mary’s Academy from our President, Christina Friedhoff. The live auction, hosted by auctioneer Cathy Marshall offered amazing and unique experiences, and the Bids for Kids paddle raise shared the moving and inspiring story of SMA alumnae, faculty members and sisters, Ashley ’02 and Caitlin Whitty ’08. Afterward people danced the night away and enjoyed delicious sweets from the dessert bar. Many thanks to all our generous donors, dedicated volunteers and hardworking staff who made this night not only possible but a huge success raising over one million dollars to support St. Mary’s Academy and its programs. The future truly is bright!
