- total renovation of 1940s era auditorium improving the space to meet fire, life, safety codes, and handicapped-accessibility requirements
- newly designed thrust stage and orchestra pit to restore high production values and the school's long-standing commitment to the performing arts
- increases seating by nearly 20 percent to accommodate increased enrollment and attendance at productions
- teaching of technical theatre will be expanded and improved with new catwalks and modern comprehensive lighting and sound systems

Today, St. Mary's is thriving as Oregon's oldest continuously operating secondary school, and the only remaining single-gender high school in the state. The school is at capacity enrollment, with over 565 students from over 30 communities in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
