Mission Statement

We strive to meet high standards of sportsmanship, responsibility, dedication, and devotion to our sport, school, and family. The coaches stress the importance of teamwork, leadership, and skill development. Through hard work and practice, our team will become competitive and foster a family like atmosphere. We are grateful for the help and support from our administration, student body, family, friends, and alumnae who support us at our races.

Dragon Boat Program

Two teams will be formed.

Each will have 25-29 members, including paddlers, a caller, tiller and flag catcher.
There are four races you can participate in.

Optional Races

  • St Martins Race - April 23, Olympia, WA
  • Rainier Race - May 14, Tacoma, WA
  • False Creek Women’s Regatta - May 28, Vancouver BC

Mandatory Race

  • Rose Festival Race - June 11 - 12, Portland, OR

Q: When do the Dragon Boat practices start?
A: Monday, March 27, 2016

Q: Where do you practice?
A: RiverPlace Marina on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m.

Q: Are there cuts in Dragon Boating?
A: No. Teams are filled in the order of registration.

Q: Are uniforms required?
A: Yes. Participants purchase uniforms at a reduced rate.

Q: Is there pre-season training?
A: Yes. The weight room is available for pre-season conditioning.
