Join us for Alumnae Weekend at St. Mary's! Start off on Friday, May 13, with the St. Mary's Academy Awards, honoring our most outstanding alumnae, including one of our teachers, Sara Follen Salvi '71! Saturday will be filled with reunion activities for the class years ending in '1 and '6, starting with 1971. Senior Clare McLeod receives President’s Volunteer Service Award
St. Mary’s Academy senior Clare McLeod has been honored for her exemplary volunteer service with a President’s Volunteer Service Award. "I am incredibly grateful that my work with Youth Ending Slavery and community education surrounding human trafficking has been recognized,” said Clare. Read more.
Four St. Mary’s Academy students named 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program Finalists, ranking in nation’s top 1 percent
All four of the young women from St. Mary’s Academy who were recognized in September as National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists have now advanced as Finalists. The four seniors rank in the top 1 percent of all U.S. high schoolers who took the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last year. Read more
St. Mary’s faculty and staff visit Apple headquarters in Cupertino
As an Apple Distinguished school – the only Oregon high school to receive this honor – St. Mary’s Academy has the opportunity to share its best practices with Apple. Today, a team of St. Mary’s faculty and staff members left for Cupertino, California, where they will get the rare opportunity to collaborate with Apple representatives at the company’s headquarters.
