This agency serves women and children who have experienced (or are currently experiencing) domestic violence. Volunteers can assist by working at the shelter (answering crisis line and working with women at the shelter); working in the children's program for kids currently living at shelter; or providing childcare for moms who are in one of the domestic violence support groups. All volunteers need to attend a 36-hour volunteer training which is offered four times a year.
