Spring Sports Are Set to Begin! Are You Cleared to Participate??
The spring sports season is quickly approaching for students interested in participating in golf, tennis track & field, lacrosse and dragon boat racing.
In order to be eligible for participation, both tryouts and practices, parents will now need to:
1) Register their student online using the Family ID portal on the SMA Athletic Forms and Contracts webpage (for students who have already created an account registering for a previous season, kindly review & update information and indicate what sport your daughter will be going out for this season);
2) Submit a completed, current OSAA physical examination form for their student to the SMA Athletic Office (physicals are good for 2 years; if you are unsure if your daughter needs a physical, check with the Athletic Office (503) 228-8306);
3) Pay a $150 participation fee if your student is participating in golf, tennis, track & field or lacrosse. This can be done via cash or check made out to St. Mary’s Academy with the student’s name and sport on the memo line or by credit card by calling the school and asking for either the Athletic or Finance Department.
Additionally, for students participating in lacrosse or pole vault parents will need to submit an Impact Consent form .
Please note that students without all eligibility requirements met will not be eligible for participation until completed.
