Twelve St. Mary's Academy students receive special acclaim; five National Merit semifinalists will now apply for scholarships in the spring.
The 2017 St. Mary's National Merit Semifinalists are Helen Buck, Lucy Cummins, Camille Dupeyroux, Maggie Rohling and Kaitee Steiert. These young women will have the opportunity to apply for National Merit Scholarships in the spring. National Merit Commended Students are seniors Margot Dupeyroux, Rose Gibian, Bryn Landrus, Amelia Myers, Sierra Smith, Emma Weeks and Katie Woodhouse. St. Mary's Academy celebrates these students' achievements in the national competition and throughout their high school careers. Principal Kelli Clark said, "These young women are more than great test-takers; they're exceptional athletes, musicians, artists, humanitarians and members of our Campus Ministry. They are well-rounded achievers and valuable members of our community and we are so proud."
